Terms of Service

VidTranslate is an AI-powered video translation tool that can instantly translate video files or online video links, with support for subtitles and dubbing in more than 100 languages.

Our platform is designed for education, global trade, e-commerce, product marketing, video creation, film and television production, and similar use cases. We integrate multiple AI models—including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok—as translation processors, and offer translation modes that prioritize fidelity, polishing, or conciseness.

Supported inputs include common video formats such as MP4, MOV, AVI, and WebM, as well as online video URLs from platforms including YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter/X.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least the age required in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding agreement, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

You may try VidTranslate for free. Free users can translate up to one minute per individual video at no charge, with no limit on the number of videos you may process.

Paid subscribers may translate videos without the one-minute per-video limit. Plan details, pricing, and feature limits are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or otherwise manage your subscription from the Billing page in your account, using Stripe's secure customer portal.

If you downgrade or cancel, changes take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will continue to enjoy the benefits of your current plan until that cycle ends.

If you are not satisfied with a paid purchase, contact us at sales@vidtranslate.com and we will review refund requests in good faith.

You may use VidTranslate only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

You must not upload, link to, or process content that infringes intellectual property or other rights, is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or violates the terms of the platform from which a video originates.

You must not attempt to interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the service, reverse engineer the platform except where permitted by law, or misuse API or account access.

You retain ownership of the videos, links, and other materials you submit to VidTranslate, subject to any rights held by third parties in the underlying content.

You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the service.

You may use translation results for commercial and profit-making activities. Our subtitle styles are suitable for commercial use, and the copyright in your translated output belongs to you. You remain responsible for respecting the copyright and other rights in the original source material when you distribute or publish translated works.

Translation, transcription, dubbing, and related outputs are generated using automated AI systems. Results may contain errors or require review before publication.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features, supported platforms, models, and limits may change as we improve the product.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement where applicable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VidTranslate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of VidTranslate after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
